DECIZII, DECIZII, DECIZII! Iata cateva aspecte care sper sa iti ridice niste semne de intrebare in ceea ce priveste shopping-ul in perioada de #sales!

The sales period (Winter Sales  January-mid February & Summer Sales  July-mid August) is a good reason to bring on the table all the money set aside and begin to catch up regarding the shopping. Most often, we don’t even keep track of what we spend during the entire year.

The fuss around the stores begins faster than expected and the red tags become the most important thing in the world. Given the temptation of all the discounts, the most important thing is to be honest with yourself and to weight things up before getting to the cash register. Do I really need this shirt? How can I match this skirt? Isn’t this dress too short for my style? This purse looks just the same with the one that I already have in my closet… DECISIONS, DECISIONS, DECISIONS! Here are some real aspects meant to raise you some questions marks regarding the shopping frenzy during the #sales period!

#1. But I no longer like it!

From experience and out of the simple observation upon my friend’s behaviors, the shoes that you want so badly, once bought, they become no longer in your radar afterwards. (not available for everyone). You’ve admired them in the display window, you try them on, you’ve seen them in different colors, but the price is way above what you can pay for. So, you wait for the sales period more than anything, just to buy them at the perfect price. You bought them! You wore them once or twice and then… you don’t really like them anymore! There is no logic explanation for that! Usually, we want the things we can’t get, but we have to understand that “the new vibe” isn’t going to last forever and those shoes become way above your interest. Here’s another thing: You will see them on the street style more often because… they were on sale and other girls took advantage of it just like you did!

#2. Poncho is the “it” clothing item! I should buy one!

No! No! No! It’s not a good idea to buy clothing items that don’t suit you just because they became a trend. You will buy the specific one, even pay o fortune for it, and you’ll realize that it’s not really your style, it highlights the worst in your figure, you can’t find a proper opportunity to wear it, and the list could go on. When you are in a store, you think and re-think before buying it: Is it suitable for more than one occasion? It’s a “classic” clothing item? Can I wear it next year? Here are some examples: the black biker boots, the neutral pencil skirt, a cashmere sweater, a denim jacket, a leather jacket, a basic white t-shirt, a trench. These are the clothing items that will never go out of style, that’s why it will cost you more that you expected, so I advise you not to compromise the quality. Just to be clear, it’s not mandatory to buy only classics every time you go shopping, just choose the versatile ones. Do your thing, but do not waste money on a “whim” just because is in trend!

#3. The brand guarantees the quality!

No! No! No! It’s the fabric and the tailoring that give the quality of a particular clothing item! Either you choose to wear the label or the product itself. In fact, what you wish for is a piece of the brand or a piece of clothing? If you’re lucky, you’ll get them both! As I said before, you will look ridiculous if you wear something that is not suitable for your style, even if it has the right label. The people will notice a strained outfit!

✔ Rate everything going through your hand in cold blood!

✔ ✔ Would you like that product if it would be at a reduced price?

✔ ✔ ✔ It would draw your attention if it would be a “no brand”?
